Media converters are widely used in telecommunication networks, FTTH and other FTTX solutions. Fiber optics transmission technology breaks the cooper network limit of 100m and gets Ethernet connected to long distance.
Media converter series are available in a wilde range. Single mode, multimode, single fiber (using Wavelength Division Multiplexing- WDM), dual fiber, with 1*9 fix optical module, or with SFPs, with internal power, or external power (mini-size).
